Reflexology

Reflexology is a complementary health therapy treatment based on the principle that there are specific areas and points on the feet and hands that map parts of the body. It is a technique that involves stimulation and massaging different pressure points found throughout the feet and hands to reduce pain and correct imbalances found by the therapist.  The body’s ability to maintain homeostasis (balance) can be compromised and balance disrupted due to stress, injury or illness.

Therefore, when gentle pressure is applied to areas and points on the feet or hand it stimulates the movement of energy along the nerve channels and helps to restore natural balance, relieves tension, improves circulation in the whole body improving an individual's well-being. More Benefits include the improvement of: energy levels, sleep, migraines, anxiety, pain, healing, release of toxins, bed wetting, constipation, IBS and many more.

I offer treatments from 4 weeks old and upwards.

I have additional CPD Recognised Qualifications to support my Diploma in Reflexology which includes Advanced Spinal Reflexology, Reflexology Support in Menopause, and a Diploma in Preconception, Pregnancy, and Post Natal Care.

Indian Head Message

Indian Head Massage (IHM) is a relaxing holistic treatment that uses acupressure massage on the head, face, neck, shoulders, and back. As the name suggests, IHM has its origins in India and dates back to 600 B.C. It can be performed anywhere as it can be applied even through clothes. IHM has many physiological and emotional benefits and can be adapted to deliver bespoke individualised treatments. The treatment can be adapted to include a full reflexology treatment (at request for an additional cost). This gentle form of massage therapy focuses on the three high chakras - mind, body and spirit.

Some of the benefits of IHM include:

  • Improved muscle tension in the face, neck, shoulder, back and upper arms.

  • Helps mobility in the neck and shoulders.

  • Can improve joint mobility.

  • Encourages a feeling of wellbeing.

  • Can relieve physical and emotional stress.

  • Promotes deep relaxation.

  • Improved circulation to the head and neck assisting in the removal of toxins.

  • Improves Lymphatic Drainage encouraging the removal of waste products.

  • Relieves mental and physical strain and improves concentration.

  • Helps headaches, insomnia, bruxism, eyestrain.

  • Relieves Sinus congestion.

  • Can support clients to feel calm.

  • Improves Mood and alertness.

  • May help improve hair loss, thinning and alopecia.

Most people only worry about their hair's health when it starts to look dry or thin. When the body is subjected to ill health or stress, the hair is often affected and can become dry. Menopause can also dry the hair. Healthy hair should be promoted from childhood and this is a great treatment for little ones.

You should wear loose-fitting clothing so that you don't feel restricted or uncomfortable. Drink plenty of water to help flush out any toxins that may have been released from the tissues. Eat lightly and healthily to reduce the strain on the body and promote healing, and avoid caffeine and alcohol for a few hours after.

Treatment is given either in a relaxing comfy chair or couch with or without hair and facial oils.

Tiny Toes Baby Reflexage Techniques

Reflexology and massage for babies is a gentle natural way to enhance bonding. A young baby can only communicate through body language and crying. For them, touch becomes their first language and our tool to communicate with them. Unique baby massage and reflexology treatments of either 1-1 or group classes over 4 weeks covering many milestones such as comfort, sleep, colic and teething. Skills are taught by a fully qualified reflexologist in a calm relaxing environment and can be used anytime, anywhere.

I am fully Trained and Qualified through Emma Baxter (Founder of Tiny Toes).

Due to the recent situation regarding Covid-19, I am offering either 1-1 or small group sessions through Online Video Call or in-person (using social distancing guidelines). Please Contact Me for further information.

Tiny Toes Toddler Reflexage Techniques

The main difference between baby Reflexage™ techniques

and toddler Reflexage™ techniques is the type of reflexology we use. In baby classes, it's easy to work on their feet so foot reflexology is predominantly used with a few hand

techniques. Toddlers are extremely mobile (and busy!) so hand reflexology techniques suit them better.

Toddler Reflexage™ techniques are designed to have toddlers sitting on laps so they can see the other children but feel connected and secure, sitting close to their parent/carer.

Cancellation Policy

Often circumstances mean appointments need to be cancelled and I totally understand and where possible will work with you to rearrange appointments. However, appointments that are cancelled within 24 hours can make it extremely difficult for that appointment to be rebooked by someone else. Therefore, if you cancel a treatment within 24 hours of your appointment and do not rebook an alternative time I will request a payment of 50% to cover the loss of this treatment time. If you cancel within 2 hours of your treatment or fail to attend full payment for the cost of the treatment will be requested.

Tiny Toes Reflexage Baby and Toddler 1-1 or Workshops - missed appointments will not be refunded due to the extra time needed to prepare the environment appropriately for these sessions.

By booking an appointment you are confirming you understand and agree to this cancellation policy. I reserve the right to apply the policy at my discretion.

Thank you for your support!
